Community Garden

transfigurationgarden.jpgDid you know that there are over 3,000 families in Cobb County without a car who live more than a mile from a grocery store? There is a sizeable need in our community for access to fresh, healthy food--a need which St. Vincent de Paul diligently works to fill.  As a part of our 8th grade Secret Service program, the teens have been designing a 25x45 ft garden to grow local, organic produce for the community served by St. Vincent de Paul, and as the Spring planting season approaches, we invite you to help us serve! Sign up to help! Click the button below to register for a workday, purchase seeds, or contribute financially.  Our needs are many and varied, so please contact Kate at 404.307.3919 or kmorales1(at)student.gsu.edu to learn more about how to get involved.

This is a layout of the garden designed by Kate with the 8th Grade Wednesday students.
