Welcome to Transfiguration Parish Religious Education Program; also known as OUR GREAT JOURNEY! We are dedicated to providing quality programs based on the Catechism of the Catholic Church, Scripture and Church Tradition.
We offer opportunities to learn more about our Catholic faith for 3 year olds to adults. Click the Information for Parents expander for uploaded calendar, handbook, prayers and words of the week.

2019 Rose (Pro-Life) Procession - To mark the 46th anniversary of the Supreme Court decisions legalizing abortion, we will have the annual Rose Procession on January 26-27.  At each Mass, we need one person born each year from 1973-2018 as well as expectant mothers.  Sign up after Masses or email Chad, chad.wischmeyer(at), if you and your family can participate. (When you email Chad, let him know names, birth years and phone numbers of those participating)

January 13 - Baptism

the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit… and the door which gives access to the other sacraments.

(This sacrament is called Baptism, after the central rite by which it is carried out: to baptize (Greek baptizein) means to "plunge" or "immerse".)

  • Chili Cook Off.JPGJoin us on February 1, 6 p.m. in Bishop Hall to pick a Chili and Cornbread Champion, build community, eat some great chili and cornbread, and support our teens serving on Mission trips this summer.

    Tickets are $5 which includes tasting, voting, and a chili dinner with toppings. Tickets will be sold after all Masses, January 20 & 27 and in the office. Read more...
