Quilters of Transfiguration
The Quilters of Transfiguration maintain a God-oriented service to the parish, regarding the corporal works of mercy through the preparation of angel blankets and lap quilts for the sorrowful, disabled, or sick parishioners. The Quilters are also socially and educationally oriented, providing opportunities for others to meet and learn quilting skills to better serve our Transfiguration family.
Are you interested in finding fellowship and service within the parish and at the same time learn a new skill? The Quilters may be the ministry for you! We meet once a month on the third Wednesday of the month in the Family Life Center from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. We are a mixed group of quilters from beginners to experienced, sharing our faith and knowledge with one another. We work on a variety of outreach projects for those in need, as well as our own projects.
