Victor was born in Cuba but moved to the US at the age of 6. He grew up around Chicago and then West Palm Beach Florida. He went back up North to get his undergraduate degree from Cornell University but went back to Florida where he met his wonderful wife of over 30 years. She was a local girl here, having gone to Walton High School and UGA. They moved back to Atlanta when Victor was getting his MBA at Emory and then moved to New Jersey and New York for a year to begin training with Prudential. They moved back to Marietta as the first of three daughters was born. They have been in the same house for over 25 years, mostly as parishioners of Holy Family. They started coming to Transfiguration about a year and a half ago after their second daughter got engaged to John Michael Mezzanotte, who grew up at Transfiguration. Their third daughter will soon graduate from UGA. After many successful years in the lending, investment banking and investments business, most recently managing emerging market bonds, Victor decided to dedicate his talents to helping Transfiguration.
Renee Ponce was born in Buffalo, New York and moved to Georgia in 1977 and has been a member of Transfiguration since 1986. Renee was employed as a Regional Director of MetLife Insurance Company for over 25 years; working primarily in administration and retirement planning. Renee is married to Igor and has 2 daughters and 3 stepchildren along with 1 grandson.
Michael was born in Washington, DC and lived in Maryland until his move to Georgia in January 2006. Michael graduated from Benjamin Franklin University in 1973 with an Associates Degree in Business Administration and in 1975 was awarded his Bachelors Degree in Commercial Science. Following graduation, Michael was employed by the accounting firm of Millard T. Charlton and Associates where he received his Certified Public Account certificate. Michael became a part owner of the firm in 1981 and resigned after 30 years of public practice in 2006. Michael currently holds an inactive Certified Public Accountant license from the state of Maryland. Michael and his wife Rosemary have two children and three grandchildren.
Originally from Michigan, Cindy and her family have been members of Transfiguration since 1997. Cindy began working as the ChrisTeen secretary in 2003 and became the Records Manager in 2009.
Frank has been working with computers and technology for over 25 years. He has been a member of Transfiguration church since 1993. As a Transfiguration Catechist, he has taught various grades and OCI for children. He has also been involved with other ministries. Frank’s oversees Transfiguration's Communication department.
Alise grew up right next door in Woodstock, and she looks forward to working in such a blessed area as ours. After graduating from Etowah high school, she attended Kennesaw State University where she studied communications.
Alise and her husband, Greg, have a 2-year-old daughter. They love the outdoors, and spending time with family.
She will be the main contact in the Communications department, receiving requests for articles to be placed in the bulletin, on the website and on social media.
