We are with you in this time of loss.
Be assured that your Transfiguration community joins you in prayer for the repose of the soul of your loved one.

If you are in need of funeral planning at Transfiguration, please contact the liturgy office in order to make funeral arrangements:
Michael Mullinki: (678) 223-7321 (direct line)

Eulogies are presented before the start of a Funeral Mass and are limited to 3 minutes if other options are not available. These must be submitted for pastoral approval no later than 24 hours before scheduled funeral. It is encouraged that eulogies or “Words of Remembrance” be spoken outside of the funeral Mass to preserve the dignity of the Funeral Rite. These are more suitable at the viewing/wake service, reception, or place of interment.

Funerals are live-streamed upon request of the family.
Not all funeral services are streamed and may only be offered to a private viewing audience (View Services Here).
Funeral times are not published in our parish bulletin.
Only families of the deceased who are members of Transfiguration are listed in our printed parish bulletin by the Pastoral Associate.
If you would like to be notified of a parish member’s passing, please join the MyParishApp Group for Funerals.

Funeral Receptions are offered by the Parish to families pending availability of the Parish Social Hall or Adult Lounge. The church offers a limited selection of refreshments (such as sandwiches, sides, iced tea, and water, and coffee).  Catering for funerals is NOT allowed at this time, however, additional desserts may be brought by the family or friends on the day of the funeral. To become a part of our funeral reception team, please contact us Here.
