Inspired by Gospel Values, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, a lay Catholic organization, leads women and men to join together to grow Spiritually by offering person to person service to those who are needy and suffering, in the tradition of it's founder, Blessed Ozanam and patron St. Vincent de Paul.

 Ways you can serve:

 Become a caseworker.  Visit people in their homes, listen and access their needs.  Provide assistance for rent, food and utilities.
 
Feed the homeless at Must.  SVDP members sponsor one meal each month alternating between lunch and dinner.
 
Women's Extension- SVDP members sponsor a dinner each month on the 2nd Tuesday of each Month, sharing support and fellowship with Women in a residential recovery program.
 
3rd Saturday at Must-Feed the unsheltered homeless on the 3rd Saturday of each month.
 
Work the food pantry at Transfiguration:  Pantry is open on alternate Monday mornings for our clients.
 Volunteer at the SVDP Thrift Store at 
 2722 Summers ST.

Vincentians at Transfiguration:
 Do home visits to access need
 Work a bimonthly food pantry
 Serve a lunch and dinner at Must Ministry monthly.
 Bring dinner and fellowship to the Women's Extension on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.
 Serve the unsheltered homeless dinner on the 3rd Saturday of each month.
 Volunteer at the Kennesaw Thrift Store
 Holiday Meals and a yearly Family Christmas Party

St Vincent de Paul is a ministry whose members grows in faith by serving the needs of our needy neighbors in Cobb County.  

 

Meetings are at Transfiguration Catholic Church room 110, on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month.  (Meeting  only once a month through the summer, so call for details)
