On the 4th Thursday of every odd month, and any additional dates we can help, Transfiguration Catholic Church provides a meal at The Loaves and Fishes dining room at The Elizabeth Inn Shelter. We serve 60 to 100 guests a freshly made hot meal. Please consider giving of your time and treasure to help those who are less fortunate. Food supplies can be dropped in the kitchen in the Social Hall anytime before 4:00 p.m. on the day of service.
If you would like to help prepare food please meet at the kitchen at the shelter at 4:30 p.m. on the 4th Thursday or other service days, and if you would like to serve, please be at the shelter by 6:30 p.m. on the service date. We are limited to 5 people in the kitchen to prepare or serve. There are plexiglass shields set up between the servers and guests for everyone’s protection.(Must be 16 or older to serve) If you need to speak to me please call at (404) 418-2696
