Who We Are: A social gathering for adults (age 55 and older) and an important and vibrant ministry..

Our Goal: To realize our potential both spiritual and social, and apply it to our daily lives.

When We Meet: On the second Thursday of each month at noon, in the Adult Lounge, we share a pot-luck luncheon.

What We Do:

- Support St. Vincent de Paul Society through monthly food donations
- Support Elizabeth Inn (MUST Ministries) by providing sandwiches

The June meeting for Friendship Circle is the annual catered luncheon. It will be Thursday, June 14, at Noon, in the Adult Lounge. All members of Friendship Circle are encouraged to attend. No need for you to cook anything, Jim has promised us a great menu, so please come.

We have a special guest speaker for this day. His name is George Rishfeld. He is from the Breman Museum in Atlanta. As an infant he was thrown over a barbed-wire fence and saved by a family during the Holocaust. We welcome non-Friendship Circle members to join us around 1:15 p.m. to hear George, but we must ask for $1.00 per non-member to help defray the cost. If you are interested, please contact Marie Fick, 770-815-8997, so we can get a head count and have enough chairs for everyone.

Good news, beginning with our September 13th meeting, Friendship Circle will move to the Family Life Center, second floor. This is going to allow us to spread out a little more and have easier accessibility to the building. We look forward to this move.

Hope to see you on Thursday, June 14.

Any questions, please call Marie Fick, President, 770-815-8997

We play Bridge and Mexican Train every Friday from 1:00-4:00 p.m. in the Adult Lounge. For questions regarding Bridge, call Margie Harris, 770-592-6557; for Mexican Train, call Leona Megargee, 770-377-9455.
