Transfiguration Catholic Community Mission

We, the community of Transfiguration,

PROCLAIM that God is our Father, Jesus is our Savior, The Spirit is our Life Giver and Healer, and all people are our sisters and brothers. Inspired by this vision, we build and deepen our relationships with one another, so that we become a true community of faith as practiced by the early church.

We CELEBRATE the Lord's saving presence in song and praise knowing that the Table of Word and Sacrament is the source and summit of our nourishment and strength to be one people.

We LIVE united as a faith family, consistent with our rich tradition as Roman Catholics, sharing the diversity of our gifts, ministry, and leadership. We participate in the missions of the Church, attentive to the Spirit expressed through its leadership and other prophetic voices by responding creatively to new and challenging needs.

We SERVE as disciples by inviting to faith the unchurched and inactive by teaching and sharing the faith with all ages, so that Gospel values may transform more fully our lives and those of our sisters and brothers. So transfigured, we are sent by Christ as His servants in today's world to the hurting, homeless, and hungry.
